As an Automotive Shop Foreman at Arlington Truck Center, you will be responsible for leading the technician team and managing the vehicle reconditioning process to ensure timely, high-quality repairs in alignment with MEI Group standards.
Lead, manage, and develop the technician team to achieve production goals and improve individual performance
Control vehicle workflow through diagnostics, mechanical repairs, rechecks, and heavy labor assignments
Monitor and achieve daily/weekly production targets and maintain technician billed hours per unit
Oversee vehicle approval and priority dispatching in the MEI production system
Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure adequate mechanical coverage
Analyze reports and trends to identify process improvements
Schedule and assign GPS installations appropriately based on technician skill level
Maintain company standards for comebacks and quality control
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
5+ years of experience as an Automotive Lead Technician or Manager
Strong leadership and team development skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Basic computer proficiency
High school diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License
Availability for a rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, and 12-hour shifts
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in inclement weather
Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
Annual Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Full-time | Day shift | Monday to Friday | Weekend availability required
