As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of every customer. You’ll work alongside a knowledgeable team in a well-equipped shop, with opportunities for training and advancement.
Examine vehicles and accurately diagnose mechanical issues
Communicate repair needs with the shop foreman and service advisor
Estimate labor time and discuss additional service requirements
Complete thorough documentation and repair stories for each job
Mentor technician trainees and attend factory and company training
Stay current with technical bulletins and manufacturer updates
Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety and environmental standards
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to maintain professionalism and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Valid Operator Driver’s License
Valid State Inspection License
Ability to work assigned shifts, including Saturdays if required
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical shop work
Must pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation: Flag rate per hour (based on experience)
