We are currently hiring Online Vehicle Acquisition Manager to supply inventory for our
Dealerships in the DFW area. If you’re a self-sufficient, independent, focused analytical leader this
may be the position for you. You'll manage a team of online buyers and the online purchasing
process. This department will replenish inventory necessary to supply our growing sales volume
through individual purchases and wholesale auction purchases. You will build the team that buy
vehicles throughout the nation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new online vehicle acquisition buyers.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of team.
• Provide team support and ensure the company objectives are being met or exceeded.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles corrective action and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with
  company policies.
• As a working manager, buy cars using online tools from the auctions as needed and
  instructed by the Inventory Director.
• Ensure that the team is knowledgeable with all online tools provided.
• Manage the transportation for the vehicles from auction to the dealership.
• Ensure the delivery of the vehicles to the lot as fast as possible
• Deliver to the corporate office an approved, signed bill of sale for each vehicle within 24
  hours of purchase.
• Oversee the timely processing of IF bids, PSIs and arbitrations with auctions.
• Keep track of all vehicles not delivered to the lot.
• Communication with the Inventory Director to make sure to buy vehicles desired at the lots
  by analyzing sales and volume statistics
• Inspect vehicles when delivered to verify vin, condition, transportation damage and manage
  arbitrations, when necessary.
• Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Compliance with Automax buying procedures and strictly buy as instructed and buy from
  sources approved by Automax.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• Require 3+ years of automotive experience.
• 2+ years of online vehicle buying experience, ideally for a franchised dealer, national
  group, or as an independent wholesaler.
• Experience as an automotive buyer is required with a solid knowledge of inventory
  acquisition operations.
• Solid understanding of the retail and wholesale automobile sales processes.
• Excellent analytical and valuation skills with a strong process orientation.
• Management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment with a high level of self-motivation.
• Web-based search applications and technology experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online vehicle buying tools is a must.
• Clean motor vehicle and criminal background records.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation: $60,000 - $85, 000 Base plus Commission (Depending on Experience)
