Automotive Intake Technician - Arlington Truck Center (Recon Production)

The Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair our selection of preowned vehicles. 

Responsibilities

• Multi Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes, brakes, suspension, and alignments.
• No start, engine, basic electrical system diagnostics 
• Transmission work, and service
• Diagnose and repair vehicles that meet our mechanical standards to ensure customers feel safe and comfortable. 
• Work in a team environment to solve technical problems which allows everyone to learn and grow.
• Gain mechanical knowledge as an automotive technician across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles. 
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and practice of health and safety compliance procedures
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina, lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for extended periods of time. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
• Good communication skills and attention to detail 
• Must possess a valid driver's license. 
• At least 1-2 years of Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Technician school certification
• Must have tools.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in fast paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn. 
• Respect teammates and have a positive outlook.

Education:

High school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma) 

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour (Depending on Experience)
